As of the 2025 release, the following columns were renamed to improve readability and bilingualism:

Note: Detailed information relating to Section 6, Volume III, Transfer Payments. A change has been made to the recipient name for the department of Foreign Affairs, Trade and Development. ACC International Holdings has been changed to Program Support Unit.

2016 CSV data file

The following updates were made in Office of the Chief Electoral Officer agency datasets under Privy Council: the description "(S) Reimbursement of election expenses to candidates and payment of subsidies to candidates' auditors for the 2015 by-elections." with the amount of 62,943$ was changed to "(S) Reimbursement of election expenses to candidates, and payments of subsidies to candidates' auditors for other general elections and by-elections."

2019 CSV data file

Starting in 2019, the data in the previous year's header "RCPNT_NML_EN_DESC" has been separated into the following three headings: CTY_EN_NM, PROVTER_EN, CNTRY_EN_NM.
