This dataset contains rows that appear as duplicate. They are intentional and should not be considered as errors.

General Notes

As of the 2025 release:

• All previous years' data files were combined together into one file.
• The following columns were renamed to improve readability and bilingualism:
  • FSCL_YR was renamed to Fscl-yr_Ex-fin
  • MINC was renamed to Min-code
  • MINE was renamed to Min-portfolio_Portefeuille-min_eng
  • MINF was renamed to Min-portfolio_Portefeuille-min_fra
  • DepartmentNumber-Numéro-de-Ministère was renamed to Dept-nbr_No-min
  • DEPT_EN_DESC was renamed to Dept-name_Nom-min_eng

2008 CSV data file

Some cells under Payee_Beneficiaire_eng column include notes that are identified in parentheses. Those notes are defined as follow:

1. Name withheld in accordance with settlement.
2. Name withheld due to reintegration mandate.
3. Excludes advance payments made in prior fiscal year (2006-2007)

2010 CSV data file

Some cells under Payee_Beneficiaire_eng column include notes that are identified in parentheses. Those notes are defined as follow:

1. One entitlement provided in 2008/2009 was reversed in 2009/2010.
2. Name withheld in accordance with legislative requirements contained in the settlement agreement until a final decision is reached in the case.
3. Name withheld in accordance with terms of exemption granted by the Public Accounts Standing Committee.
