Supporting Documentation: International travel expenditures of ministers, parliamentary secretaries, and ministers' staff as per the Public Accounts of Canada

Volume 3, Section 10

This dataset reports a total of international travel expenditures charged to the departmental budget (not charged to the ministers' office budget) for each minister, including the ministers' staff and parliamentary secretaries. The total is presented as an aggregate amount for each minister on a single row, excluding GST. In accordance with the Policies for Ministers' Offices, only costs for international travels that were required for departmental operational or program purposes are reported in this section.

The information for international travel expenditures of ministers, parliamentary secretaries, and ministers' staff first appeared in the Public Accounts of Canada in 2011.

As of the 2025 release, the following columns were renamed to improve readability and bilingualism:
