Note: This dataset is for the year 2019-2020 and later, previous years of minister’s offices expenses are available in dataset Expenditures of Ministers' Offices as per the Public Accounts of Canada.

As of 2025, the following columns were renamed to remain in sync with the rest of the Public Accounts datasets:

• FSCL_YR was renamed to Fscl-yr_Ex-fin

Data Corrections

• The End-date_Date-fin value of row 51 in the 2024-2025 CSV file, related to the office expenses for the Honourable A Kayabaga with a Std-obj1_Art-crnt1 amount of $157,028, was corrected to "2025-03-31" (from the previous value of "2025-03-23").

2020-2021

Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Intergovernmental Affairs - Exempt Staff working in Ministers' Regional Offices (MROs)

Responsibility for all Ministers' Regional Offices (MROs) fall under the Privy Council Office (PCO). As a result, all related expenditures are represented under the PCO portfolio.

Other

Expenditures relate to Ministers' offices from a previous Parliament, which were paid out in the 2020-2021 fiscal year.

2019-2020

Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Intergovernmental Affairs - Exempt Staff working in Ministers' Regional Offices (MROs)

Responsibility for all Ministers' Regional Offices (MROs) fall under the Privy Council Office (PCO). As a result, all related expenditures are represented under the PCO portfolio.
